Virtual Guard Monitoring in Singapore
A virtual guard is a remote operator who watches your premises through your cameras. GCCTVMS operators monitor your existing compatible camera system and follow the response steps agreed for your property.
What Virtual Guard Monitoring Is, and Is Not
It is remote monitoring. Operators observe your feeds, notice activity that needs attention and act according to your agreement. It is not a physical guard service. GCCTVMS does not send people to your site.

Where It Can Help
- Properties that are empty at night or on weekends
- Sites where an on-site guard cannot cover every area at once
- Premises that already have guards and want an additional layer of remote oversight
Working With On-Site Security
If you already have guards, virtual monitoring can sit alongside them. An operator can notify your guard or your designated contact when something needs attention, and your on-site team handles any physical response within its own role.
What Happens When an Operator Sees Something
Depending on your arrangement and equipment, the operator may notify your contact, send an alert or incident report, issue a warning through two-way audio, or escalate to the relevant authorities where appropriate. The steps are agreed with you in advance.
What We Need From You
- A compatible camera system with the areas you want watched
- The monitoring hours you want covered
- Names and numbers of the people to contact, and when
Limits
Virtual monitoring cannot physically intervene, and it cannot guarantee that incidents will be prevented. Coverage depends on camera placement, lighting and connection quality.
